In order for prayer to be effective, it must based on God’s written word and must be prayed in faith. It is good to have a prayer list of things you are believing for. You pray and ask once, believe you receive, and then just keep thanking God and expecting!

I also keep a list of prayers I pray daily taken from the word of God. I know these by heart now, but I still keep them in writing with my prayer papers. These are the prayers I pray daily over myself and my church people (I put them into my words):

Ephesians 1:17-22 Thank You, Father, that You give me a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You., the eyes of my understanding being enlightened, that I may know
the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your Glory, and then exceeding greatness of Your power to us who believe! According to the power that You worked in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and sat Him at Your right hand in the Heavens, far above all principality, power, might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world but in that which is to come.

Colossians 1:9-11 Thank You, God, that I fam filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that I may walk worth of You to all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of You, strengthened with all might according to Your glorious power, with all patience and longsuffering with joy.

Philippians 1:9-11 Thank You, Lord, that my love abounds more and more in all knowledge and in all truth, that I may approve the things that are excellent, and be perfect and without offense until the day of Christ.

2 Thessalonians 3:2 I thank You, that I am delivered from unreasonable and wicked men, because not all have faith.

Hebrews 12:1 Father, help me to lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily besets me, and run with patience, keeping my eyes on Jesus.
